2.Kings Karting Championship 2018 | Kings Engineering College - Mechanical - Kanchipuram

 

 Greetings of the day,

We are glad to announce that, our institution, KINGS ENGINEERING COLLEGE   is conducting a National Level GO-Kart Event called Kings Karting Championship.

            Kings Karting Championship is a competition conducted by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kings Engineering College to explore the theoretical and technical skills of Engineering and diploma students. The main motto of this competition is to design, analyze, documentation and manufacturing of Kart. The event takes place in three stages during December 18-20th, 2018.

·        Day 1- Design Validation Round and Technical Inspection

·        Day 2- Dynamic Round

·        Day 3- Endurance test

 First, design validation round known as the virtual round will be conducted. The special feature of this round is that there will be no elimination at this point. The second stage is the Technical Inspection where the vehicle will be thoroughly checked prior to the requirements provided. Finally, the last stage comprises of Dynamic Round and Endurance test. The participating teams have liberty to exhibit their Innovation and New Finding allied with rule book provided by KKC.

In order to encourage and motivate the upcoming engineers to express their individual talent through this event, KKC provides 10+ various awards in different categories. The recognition is not only by certificate, KKC announces INR 16, 00,000 (Sixteen Lakhs) worth Prize.

 I herewith give you the essential needs for “KINGS KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP-2018”,

1.      All Engineering Students of any discipline (Mechanical, ECE, EEE, Automobile, etc.,) are eligible to participate with in the team.

2.      The team must contain minimum of 20 members and every additional member will be charged accordingly.

3.      The Team should have a Captain, a Vice Captain and 2 Drivers among the 20 members.

4.      More than one Team from a college/ University shall participate with in the event with different Team Names.

5.      Registration Fee: Rs.25, 000 (for 20 members) and a fee of Rs.1000 for each additional member.
